Find Team Dahlia at the Second Annual Chef Jack’s Memorial Chili Bowl this Sunday. This event is very near and dear to us as we loved Jack Riebel and he was a mentor to Nat and Alex in their early days as chefs. Also, we had barely announced Dahlia when we participated last year, so we’re excited to come back with a little more footing and a lot more chili!
Come to sample a variety of chilis created by local chefs and restaurants across the Twin Cities. Each of these culinary virtuosos will bring their unique chili creations to the table for you to sample. Vote for your favorite to win the coveted title, “Best Chili”, and a $1000 prize. Proceeds from the event benefit Culinary Scholarships.
We’ll be bringing a guajillo steak chili topped with cheese foam, bacon, and a cinnamon croissant stick, an homage to Nat’s childhood when he ate chili with a cinnamon roll (don’t knock it ‘til you try it!) And hey - vote for us!
